Technology Education
Introduction
Written by the Cyberspace Pursuit Team

Abingdon High School TSA is an organization of technologically savvy students who take great interest in making technology education accessible to as many students as possible.

Technology is all around us, but for many of us, "technology" immediately brings to mind the more heavily marketed and socially integral mp3-players, computers, cell phones, and social networking (facebook, myspace, etc...). Technology is much, much more. It is anything that improves the convenience of our daily lives. As the Merriam Webster online dictionary states, it is: "a capability given by the practical application of knowledge."

At Abingdon High School, our motto is "Dare to be wise." And the AHS-TSA dares to excel in technology.

Along with several in-school classes housed in the business curriculum, Abingdon High School offers technology classes through the William N. Neff Center, the Washington County Technical School, and online through AP or Dual-Enrollment classes.
