Conferences

Conferences are a vital part of the TSA. They are where all of its hardworking members get together to present their data and research through competitive events. AHSTSA will be attending all three levels of the Conferences - Local, State, and Nationals. This year the National Conference will be held in Denver, CO from June 28 to July 2. We are all looking to the opportunity to attend and compete at this conference.

Virginia Technosphere

From May 1 - 3, eight of Abingdon High's TSA members traveled to Vienna, Virginia to attend and compete at the 32nd Virginia Technosphere. Abingdon's first TSA team did exceptionally well with 5 top 3 finishes. Four of these winners will be traveling to Denver, CO to compete in the National Conference.

Another remarkable step for AHSTSA was the election of Jason Dreyzehner to the office of Vice-President of the VA TSA Executive Council. We are looking forward to having him on the council next year.

2009 Southwestern VA Spring Fair

On Saturday March 7, 2009, four Abingdon High School TSA members competed in the Southwestern Region Technology Fair at Lebanon High School. All four placed and will be going to state with the rest of the team members to Tyson’s Corner , VA for the State Technosphere - May 1 - 3.
