AHSTSA Meetings are held in the Library during Academic Club time on regular Club Days- generally the first Wednesday of each month. TSA members are participating in the Recycling Program - picking up paper from bins in classrooms every Friday as well as taking bins for recycling plastic bottles and cans to school and community events. We have already secured additional aid for the Abingdon High School Recycling Program for the upcoming year, including the purchasing of more recycling baskets and plastic containers.
We are fundraising through Mars Division Candy Sales. With the fifteen members of our chapter we have sold over 9000 boxes of candy to aid in the funding of our state and national competition trips. We have made plans to begin selling again next year to aid in the funding of the upcoming year's numerous activities and competitions. |
